One of all time most fun things to do in Denver is Film on the Rocks. Every summer, Red Rocks Amphitheater turns their incredible natural acoustically perfect music venue into a natural, outdoor movie theater and picks only the best classic films. For Memorial Day weekend, they will be playing The Big Lebowski. This is absolutely a stoner’s dream situation. So here’s what you should bring when you go: a blanket to sit on, some comfortable, warm clothing (to prepare for any kind of Colorado weather), snacks (Boulder Canyon Chips), water, your vaporizer of choice (Pax 2) and about an eighth of Durban Poison.

2. Yoga Rocks the Park

Things to do in Denver for Memorial Day, stoned yoga.

If you don’t think of yoga in conjunction with the ultimate 420 fest, then think again. Yoga Rocks the Park is a FREE live music and yoga event in one of Denver’s many beautiful parks. Better yet, donations from the event go towards operating the event and supporting the Food Bank of the Rockies. So if you want to puff puff pass some delicious Flo, get some sun, exercise and do something philanthropic for the community, then look no further.

3. The Pressed Conference

things to do in Denver ciders

Denver is known for loving it’s cannabis and microbreweries, but the Rocky Mountain region also has it’s fair share of hard cideries. This inaugural event could be a fantastic 420 day, if you love food trucks, live music, and a plethora of different ciders from all over Colorado.

Things to do in Denver, eat at the best restaurants for Memorial Day weekend,

One of my favorite restaurants in Denver, is none other than Lola located in the Lower Highlands (LoHi). Self-described “Coastal Mexican” food, Lola is famous for their incredible outdoor patio, their wide range of tequilas, and their insanely delicious made to order tableside guacamole. To have the ultimate Colorado time, check out Lola’s Memorial Day picnic featuring delicious barbecue, tacos, and happy hour drinks all day.
